This 185,000sqm mixed-use development in London's Docklands sits on the edge of Canary Wharf’s Crossharbour which was previously occupied by the London Arena. The site was vacated in 2004 when the Millennium Dome's conversion into a 20,000-seater arena is complete.

Spread throughout a series of building blocks and towers, ranging in height from roughly 20- to 40-storeys, the development includes a 400-bed, 4-star hotel and conference centre, 1,062 apartments with affordable housing, 13,000sqm of shops, cafés and restaurants, 1,750sqm of leisure as well as 61,700sqm of offices. The project will also involve the redevelopment of the Docklands Light Railway Station at Crossharbour. The tower form was designed to bring views out and light into the dark courtyard provided in the initial massing. By compressing the form at the top allow a break/relief to the space below and allowed more light in whilst using materials to reflect light into the scheme. The twisting the form to allow maximum light and reflection into the heart of the development This residential-led mixed-use design reflects client requirements for a dense urban development, whilst remaining respectful of the scale and character of the existing urban context. The scheme seeks to provide greater public access and permeability through and around the site and to develop the waterfront into a vibrant public place.
